Greg E. Nelson, is a co-managing director of Artemis Realty Capital Advisors, LLC. Prior to Artemis he served as the CEO of a bi-coastal real estate developer where he spent 19 years. Under his direction, the company purchased, developed and managed over 3M SF of core and value-added office, retail, industrial, land and multi-family projects and maintained a $300M development pipeline both as a merchant builder and for its own account. Mr. Nelson has been responsible for the analysis, negotiation and execution of over $1B in construction, mezzanine and CMBS loans, equity joint ventures, as well as negotiating over $1B in asset purchases, sales, leases, distressed commercial real estate projects and non-performing loan portfolios. Mr. Nelson graduated with a degree from Babson College in Wellesley, MA with an emphasis in finance, investments, marketing and entrepreneurial studies. Mr. Nelson has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), the Real Estate and Investment Advisory Council (REIAC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Arizona State University (ASU) Sky Song Summit on Education and Innovation. Mr. Nelson serves on the Board of Directors of several operating companies and has otherwise volunteered his services to various charitable organizations.
